more about PBS sites

I may have said this before, but there are two shows on PBS that you must see. One is called Art 21: art in the twenty-first century. This can be found on the PBS Art 21 site or on the Art 21 YouTube channel .
I keep missing these when they air. I am glad they present them online.

I am waiting for season 5 to be available so I can watch it. The site says the first show aired in October but as usual, I missed it again.

The second series you must see is called Craft In America. This can be found at this PBS site.

I love seeing what other artists are doing: how they work and what their thought processes are like. Sometimes I am more interested in the process than the finished product.

The artists showcased in the above programs are mostly traditional gallery artists: painters, sculptors, woodworkers and some who work with new media. This is perfectly fine, but I also love the work of animators and graphic novelists.

I’ll tell you more about that next time.
